A new type of infrared spatial interferometer has been developed to measure the angular sizes and shapes of circumstellar dust shells. At a wavelength of 5 microns the diameter of VY CMa is approximately 0.45 arc sec. The size and structure of IRC + 10216 are consistent with previous lunar occultation results. Upper limits are placed on the angular diameters of nine other stars.
