Heterometallic Dinuclear Complexes by Ethene Displacement with Grignard Compounds or Diorganomagnesium Compounds

The incorporation of a complete Grignard compound into the coordination sphere of a transition‐metal atom has been achieved for the first time by the reaction of 1, a well‐known source of CpCo, with phenylmagnesium bromide in tetrahydrofuran (THF) in the presence of N,N,N′,N′‐tetramethylethy‐lenediamino (TMEDA).
