Carrier mobility of poly-p-phenylenesulfide (PPS) is studied by the time of flight method. The polarity effect of induced charge indicates that the hole is predominant carrier in PPS. The mobility of hole in PPS at room temperature is evaluated as 4×10-4 cm2/V.sec. It increases at higher temperatures with an activation energy of about 0.2 eV.
