A nickel-catalyzed enantioselective reductive hydroalkylation of secondary amide-derived enamides with α-halo boronic esters is described. This mild protocol delivers N–H amide-containing chiral β-aminoboronic esters in high yields and with excellent enantioselectivities. The reaction exhibits broad functional-group tolerance, and the products can be easily transformed into valuable chiral oxazolines and other derivatives, underscoring their synthetic utility.
