GT Note 2 introduces structural extensions to Wolfgang Ketterle’s framework for Bose–Einstein condensation (BEC). The note identifies eight conceptual gaps in the standard description of ultracold quantum systems, including the absence of a generative pre‑GP layer, a structural onset mechanism, and a definitionof pre‑coherence. GT proposes layer (i) as a structural regime preceding Gross–Pitaevskii dynamics, reorganizing the sequence of physical processes leading to condensation. Coherence becomes a structural property emerging immediately after onset, damping arises from misalignment within layer (i), and anomalous density is reinterpreted as a structural effect rather than an anomaly. The document complements—rather than contradicts—Ketterle’s dynamical and statistical framework, providing deeper structural foundations and several experimentally testable predictions.A full comparison table between Ketterle’s model and GT is included in the appendix.
