This qualitative phenomenological research conducted a follow-up study with the Female adult single parent (FASP) participants from the 2019 study (Bradley & Goldstein, 2022) to learn more about their experiences during and since the COVID-19 era (March 2020–present). Five of the original six single mothers participated in this follow-up study. Two research questions (RQ) guided this study. The first RQ focused on the lived experience of FASP , and the second RQ focused on how participants felt the schools could better support FASP families. Participants shared their stories and provided suggestions for schools. Data were collected through in-depth, semi-structured interviews held in person or virtually via Zoom. Findings revealed a continued lack of positive parent-school collaborations. Suggestions for schools and future directions for research with this population are provided.
