On the basis of the analysis of a kitten's spinal cord using Golgi's original method, it was found that a procedure bringing face to face the axonal and dendritic cut ends found in the confronting planes of the serial sections by means of their serial photomicrographs provides a means for precisely reconstructing the neuron. Utilizing this method, it was possible to follow the total course of both axon and dendrites of several intramedullary neurons.
