Equilibrium distribution of pinning points at dislocations under an external vibrational stress of small amplitude

At temperatures where pinning points become mobile along dislocations a prolonged vibrational stress should lead to a redistribution of pinning points. Equilibrium distribution functions have been calculated for a network of dislocations and for an external vibrational stress of any frequency and of an amplitude small enough that dislocations do not break away from pinning points.
