Various unusual leaf patterns appearing on olive trees, often associated with poor tree growth, may be due to a deficiency of one of the mineral-nutrient elements studied in this investigation—nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, or magnesium. Results of a two-year sand-culture experiment are here presented by a series of leaf analyses, growth measurements of the trees, and color photographs of the leaf symptoms obtained.
