Does steroid therapy improve cardiac function in a patient with Multicentric Castleman's Disease presenting with cardiomyopathy?
This case report highlights that Multicentric Castleman's Disease can present with reversible dilated cardiomyopathy-like features that respond rapidly to steroid therapy.
May suggest steroid-responsive cardiomyopathy in Multicentric Castleman's disease; hypothesis-generating and should not change practice.

Yamamoto et al. (2001) conducted a case report in Multicentric Castleman's disease with cardiomyopathy (n=1). Steroid therapy was evaluated on Improvement of cardiac function and disease symptoms. Steroid therapy led to the improvement of both Multicentric Castleman's disease symptoms and left ventricular diffuse hypokinesis in a 50-year-old male patient.
