A configurationally stable chiral titanocene, of interest as a catalyst for asymmetric hydrogenation, contains tert‐butyl‐substituted Cp rings and a (CH2)3chain joining the two rings. The enantiomers of the title compound, synthesized for the first time, can be resolved by way of a diastereomeric (S)‐binaphtholate.
