The interdiffusion coefficients for the mixtures of polar gases NH3–(C2H5)2O have been measured at five temperatures over a 15°—65°C range by the two-bulb technique of Ney and Armistead. A sensitive differential thermal conductivity analyzer was employed for gas analysis. The experimental D12 values have been utilized to determine the potential parameters for the unlike interactions on the Stockmayer (12:6:3) model. The usual combination rules for the polar—polar interaction have been found to be inadequate.
