The extensive ground-based magnetic study was executed in the Gebel Um Barmil area, East Aswan, aiming to delineate iron ore occurrences and map superficial geological features. The region is recognized for its iron-rich zones. During field activities in 2019–2020, six rock specimens were sampled to assess mineral content using geochemical methods. Magnetic data were collected across profiles perpendicular to the ore bodies to improve subsurface imaging. Laboratory analyses at the Egyptian Mineral Resources Authority (EMRA) were performed using X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) to determine the iron percentage and associated mineral phases. The magnetic survey revealed prevalent NW–SE and NE–SW trends, while geochemical results recorded an average iron content near 42.30%.
