Hybrid two-stage debranching and TEVAR successfully treats descending thoracic aortic aneurysm with aberrant right subclavian artery.
Case Report (n=1)
Hybrid surgical approaches combining debranching and TEVAR offer a safe and effective therapeutic option for complex aortic arch anomalies with aneurysms.
ARSA associated with higher thoracic aortic aneurysm rates; leaves open whether targeted screening alters outcomes in anomaly carriers.
Kazuistika: Kazuistika prezentuje 56-ronho mua bez pridruench komorbidt, ktor mal anomliu aortlneho oblka pozostvajcu z truncus bicaroticus a aberantnej pravej arteria subclavia bez Komerellovho divertikla, ktor mala retroezofagelny priebeh, v spojen s rozsiahlo kalcifikovanou sakulrnou aneuryzmou zostupnej hrudnej aorty. Hybridn prstupy v chirurgickej liebe anomli aortlneho oblka ponkaj bezpen a efektvnu terapeutick monos.

Lukacín et al. (2025) conducted a case report in Thoracic aortic aneurysm with an aberrant right subclavian artery and truncus bicaroticus (n=1). Hybrid 2-stage operation (aortic debranching, extra-anatomical bypass, ARSA occlusion, and TEVAR) was evaluated. A hybrid 2-stage approach consisting of aortic debranching and TEVAR successfully treated a descending thoracic aortic aneurysm in a patient with an aberrant right subclavian artery.
