EDITORIAL COMMENT This study showed that 17 out of 465 patients, i.e., 3.6 %, had ocular complications. These were always associated with at least one other systemic complication and all the patients had joint symptoms. It seems likely that the greater use of corticosteroids may reduce the incidence of eye complications, especially of uveitis.
