Abstract

The ternary quadratic equation given by ( ) 2 2 2 75 5 3 Z XY Y X = -+ is considered and searched for its many different integer solutions.Four different choices of integer solutions to the above equation are presented.A few interesting relations between the solutions and special polygonal numbers are presented.
