BaTiO3 coating films were prepared from Ba(CH3COO)2-Ti(OC3H7i)4-H2O-CH3COOH-C3H7i OH solutions containing poly(vinylpyrrolidone) with average molecular weight of 630000. Formation of crack-free BaTiO3 films 1.2 μm in thickness was successfully achieved via single-step, non-repetitive dip-coating. The film had relatively dense mocrostructure in SEM scale and transmitted visible light.
