The role of non-O1/non-O139 Vibrio cholerae (NOVC) in human infections is increasingly recognized as an emerging public health threat.We are here to report the isolation of NOVC serotype O176 from a sputum sample in a male patient who underwent coronary angiography bypass graft (CABG).This case is being reported since NOVC was isolated from the sputum specimen, which is unknown and not reported as of this date.
