A well-defined seven-arm star macromolecular antioxidant (β-CD-(DBHCA)7) was synthesized to improve competitive thermal oxidative stabilization to natural rubber. TGA indicated that β-CD-(DBHCA)7 possessed good thermal stability. Accelerated thermal aging and methanol extraction test revealed that β-CD-(DBHCA)7 could provide long-term thermal oxidative stabilization for natural rubber (NR) and retain high stability against migration.
