Radiative lifetimes of the eight levels y 3 P 0,1,2 0 , 1 D 2 0 , z 3 D 1,2,3 0 and z 1 F 3 0 in Y II have been measured with the beam-laser technique. In comparison with previously reported data, our lifetime values have greater accuracy and, for some of the levels, the lifetimes differ from previous results.
