The title ligand gave adducts with silver(I), zinc(II), cadmium(II), mercury(II), mercury(I), and tin(IV) where it must be exopolydentate. The 1H and 13C nmr spectra, electrical conductivity, and molecular weights were determined in dimethylsulphoxide.
