The mobility of a charged impurity in a Fermi liquid of neutral particles has been calculated. A simplified form of the distribution function has been used to evaluate the collision integral in Boltzmann's equation. The mobility is found to be proportional to 1/( kT ) 2 . A brief discussion of the structure of an ion in 3 He and of the applicability of the calculation is given.
