Rodents (order Rodentia) and rabbits and hares (order Lagomorpha) are the common hosts of larvae of flies of the genus Cuterebra; these larvae usually live as subdermal parasites within cysts. New World monkeys are also hosts of certain members of the genus. Parasitism by such larvae has only rarely been recorded in man. As far as we were able to determine, there have been only 5 previously published accounts of human myiasis by Cuterebra. In this note a 6th and a 7th case are reported, and photographs of 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-stage larvae, all of which have now been taken from man, are included.
