Questions related to the homogenization of the Dirichlet problem for nondivergence elliptic equations of second order with rapidly oscillating ε -periodic coefficients are studied. Error estimates of homogenization in the Sobolev spaces of order √ε are obtained. Asymptotic homogenization methods are applied.
