The aerial parts of Salvia pubescens afforded, besides icetexone and methylconacytone, a new icetexane diterpenoid named 19(R)-acetoxy-19-deoxoicetexone. Its structure was elucidated by spectroscopic methods and chemical correlation with icetexone.
