Not just a pretty face(t)! Novel NaSbO3 hierarchical cuboidal microclusters assembled from well-defined hexagonal single-crystal nanosheets with exposed {001} facets were prepared hydrothermally and further transformed topotactically into AgSbO3 (see figure), which, due to its unique structure, showed higher photocatalytic activity for visible-light-driven O2 evolution than AgSbO3 formed from NaSbO3 prepared by a solid-state reaction.
