Mechanoluminescent Photonic Skin In article number 2502743, Yu Jun Tan and co-workers present a 3D-printed self-powered auxetic mechanoluminescent photonic skin for underwater communication and safety monitoring. It features a negative Poisson's ratio “core” for superior interfacial conformability, and a silicone encapsulation “shell” that offers exceptional stretchability and brightness in harsh aquatic environments.
