In the context of escalating challenges to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives in higher education, the purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between cultural center involvement and college students’ civic engagement using multiple years of data from the National Survey of Student Engagement. Regression analyses revealed that students who participated in cultural center activities reported significantly higher civic engagement skills and frequency of engagement across all racial, gender, and sexual identities. These findings suggest that cultural centers continue to have institutional value in promoting civic engagement for all students.
