We have designed and tested a two-color nonlinear Boltzmann cellular atuomaton to study hydrodynamic phenomena related to surface tension and wetting in two dimensions. Our rules for collisions of colored particles allow for both miscibility and flexible control of the interfacial tension and the interface thickness. The contact angle of two fluids on a surface can be adjusted from complete wetting to complete nonwetting in a continuous way. Problems of the dynamical contact angle and drop deformation in a shear flow and in a gravitational field are also studied in detail.
