Based on the Kirsch combined method and the Rayleigh quotient, a new eigenvalue reanalysis method for modified structures is developed. Using this method, the accuracy of the eigenvalues reanalysis of large modifications of structural parameters is improved. As an application of the method, a numerical example is given to illustrate the accuracy by comparing the second-order perturbation method with the proposed method if the large modifications of structural parameters are made. The calculated results show that the proposed method is effective.
