Parental Learning Disability and Children’s Needs. Family experiences and effective practice

This book describes research, conducted by the authors, that explores social work practice in relation to the assessment and planned interventions for children living with a parent with a learning disability and referred to children’s teams. Following a study group of 76 referred cases, the research compares data with a group of 152 cases drawn from all referrals but where neither parent had a learning disability.
