All articles of this category O -Alkyl-D-glucopyranosylamines are prepared by alkylation of glucose and subsequent exchange of the 1-hydroxy group by an amino group. The title compounds are being tested as chiral templates, in particular for peptide syntheses by asymmetric four-component condensations.
