The angular dependence of the transverse magnetoresistance of cadmium and cadmium-zinc crystals has been measured in the temperature range of 1.4-9.0 K. It is observed that with the increase of temperature the magnetoresistance for H {∥} [0001] decreases more rapidly than for other directions of H. The results agree with the earlier semiquantitative calculations by Young, and they are compatible with the concept of intersheet scattering between adjacent pieces of the second-zone hole surface.
