A thiophene–tetrafluorophenyl–thiophene building block was used in combination with a furan-substituted diketopyrrolopyrrole for synthesizing the polymer semiconductor,PDPPF-TFPT.PDPPF-TFPTexhibits ambipolar behaviour with hole and electron mobilities as high as 0.40 cm2V−1s−1and 0.12 cm2V−1s−1.
