Oscillatory photoconductivity (PC) has been studied on n-type CdTe samples at 10°K. In one of the cases we measured a period which is equal to the energy of the longitudinal optical phonon; in the other case the period is appreciably greater. The dissociation of the free exciton and of an acceptor-exciton complex has been observed. An oscillation in the phase delay of the photoconductivity response with a period equal to the energy of an LO phonon has been recorded. Possible interpretations are discussed.
