The research paper showes study of current features, risks and areas of improvement of instruments, methods and conditions of securities trading in Ukraine. All possible factors currently affecting the economy as a whole, as well as the securities market in particular were taken into account. The study was conducted systematically and comprehensively on the basis of a review of domestic and foreign literature sources, based on such research methods as analysis (studying the current state of securities trading), comparison (structuring risks and prospects of the stock market in Ukraine), generalization (substantiating conclusions of scientific work). In order to deepen the analysis and form conclusions, research was structured describing such components as state regulation of the securities market, the current state and trends of the securities market in Ukraine, analysis of the impact of military aggression on the economy and stock market.in particular, the problems and risk factors of securities traders, as well as the most effective tools to eliminate them.It was found that trading in securities over the past year was quite active in many types of financial instruments (stocks, investment certificates, bonds, options, futures, etc.).At the same time, the main share among trade objects is occupied by domestic government bonds, which, given the negative impact of direct fullscale military aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, are likely to be an even more important financial instrument in the market given the need to attract additional financial resources. It is defined that the main problems of the securities trader market in Ukraine are the low level of liquidity, instability of the political, economic and social components of the state development, etc.It is proposed to consider the need to simplify state supervision, improve information and analytical support as ways to increase the efficiency of securities traders.
