A new method is proposed to determine with high accuracy the relative orientation of two crystals. The three angular components are deduced from two electron diffraction photographs taken at two widely different inclinations of the foil. Only two Kikuchi poles are used for each photograph. A simple analytic expression gives the values of the three angular parameters. The precision is estimated to be 4′ for one parameter and better than 10′ for the others.
