Ziegler–Natta revival: Enantiomerically pure, isotactic oligo/polystyrenes have been prepared by titanium-based single-site catalysis. The optical activity of these polystyrenes was shown to be measurable up to a degree of polymerization of 45, providing a discrete border for the appearance of “cryptochirality” for larger macromolecules.
