The study is a qualitative research designed with an artbased research method and adopts a semiotic analysis approach. The study group was formedfrom sixth-grade students studying in a medium-sized secondary school in the Eastern Anatolia Region in the 2022–2023 academic year. The artistic works of the sixth-grade students on the concept of justice were analyzed by semiotic analysis. They offered views such as women’s rights. On the other hand, it was observed that the students used mostly scales and images expressing equality to express justice in their paintings. It was observed that the views of secondary school students about the concept of justice and the artistic products they produced overlapped.
