Formulas relating the transition matrix elements involving the charmed quark, Ucd, Ucs, and Ucb, to experimental data are given. For illustration the existing data are used to estimate or bound |Uᵢⱼ|. With additional assumption of six quark flavors, Uᵢⱼ can be related to Kobayashi-Maskawa angles (θ₁, θ₂, θ₃, δ), and the allowed regions in a sinθ₂-sinθ₃ plane are exhibited. When combined with the constraints from the K⁰-K̄⁰ system, an accurate determination of Ucs is shown to lead to unique values for (θᵢ, δ).
