The temperature dependence of the resistivity of the intercalation complex VSe 2 (N 2 H 4 ) 0.6 has been measured between 4.2K and 450K. The resistive anomaly associated with charge density wave formation observed at 110K in pure VSe 2 is found at a higher temperature, of 165K, in the intercalated system. The authors discuss this behaviour in terms of the increased vanadium d-band occupation which results from charge transfer from the hydrazine.
