Chemically induced dynamic nuclear polarization (1H CIDNP) was observed during photolysis of uranyl succinate containing 30% of 235U in methanol-d4 and D2O. The photolysis of the succinate up to 85%-90% conversion results in an enrichment of the starting compound in the 235U isotope by 6%±1% due to a magnetic isotope effect with the 235U/238U pair.
