The Slater model for the K(H 1-x D x ) 2 PO 4 crystal is considered, and solved in two dimensions, by assuming an annealed proton-deuteron distribution. The transition is found to be of first order, with the Curie temperature and the entropy jump both varying almost linearly with the deuterium concentration. These results are in good agreement with experiments.
