A secure correlated MISO multicast network is modelled with best transmit antenna selection (BTAS) over the Rayleigh fading channel under the influence of multiple wiretappers. It consists of a transmitter, Tx equipped with [Formula: see text] number of antennas, M single-antenna receivers and N single-antenna wiretappers. The foremost aspiration of this paper is to reduce the effects of antenna correlation and wiretapping, and the channel capacity degradation due to multicasting in the correlated MISO multicast network utilizing antenna selection diversity. A mathematical model is developed with BTAS for the proposed multicast network in terms of the capability indices: ergodic secrecy multicast capacity, probability of non-zero secrecy multicast capacity, and secure outage probability for multicasting. The analytical results show that the BTAS technique substantially improves the secrecy capacity and outage performance of the MISO multicast network, suppressing the effects of capacity declination because of multicasting, antenna correlation and wiretapping. The derived analytical interpretations are also validated using Monte-Carlo simulation.
