This is a retrospective study of 232 patients, and a prospective survey of 48 patients, regarding susceptibility factors in tinea versicolor, particularly in association with seborrheic dermatitis. In both surveys, a higher (10.4%) than expected (3.8%) percentage of association with seborrheic dermatitis was found. (Arch Dermatol115:966-968, 1979)
