Oxidative coupling of methane was carried out under UV-irradiation at temperatures below 500 K. C2+ hydrocarbons were formed over TiO2 catalysts prepared from Ti(i-OPr)4 by hydrolysis. Correlation between C2+ selectivity and anatase fraction (%-anatase) of the catalysts was observed.
