Describes a numerical processor which computes the spatio-temporal correlations of two-dimensional images. It works in real time on the video signals from a TV camera or of a photo diode array. The computed functions are one-dimensional on 32, 62, ..., 2, 1024 points, or two-dimensional on 32*32, 64*64 points. This is dependent of the sensor and the programming. The time of analysis is 1 ms for a photodiode array and standard for TV camera. The time delay Delta tau for temporal correlation is in the range 0-15 ms. With integrated array sensor all the functions are simultaneously computed for the various Delta tau . Image averaging is also performed.
