Some physical techniques, which are used for the investigation of molecular magnetic clusters, are reviewed. In fact, these systems, which comprise a large number of coupled magnetic centers, require, beyond the classical techniques used for simple paramagnets, many unconventional techniques that are now becoming available. In particular the use of high-field magnetization measurements, high-field−high-frequency EPR spectroscopy, and neutron techniques, namely polarized neutron scattering and inelastic neutron scattering will be shortly reviewed here.
