To evaluate the clinical and radiographic outcomes of endodontic treatment using PRF apical barrier and bioceramic sealer for immature teeth with periapical lesions after 1, 2, 3, 6 months. In this prospective case series, the platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) membrane was used as an apical barrier combined with a bioceramic sealer and gutta percha cone in root canal obturation for 15 permanent teeth with open apex and periapical lesion in 14 patients in the National Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology HoChiMinh city (10 teeth in male and 5 teeth in female, with patients aged from 7 to 14 years). Data on clinical symptoms and radiograph variables were collected before and after treatment 1, 2, 3 and 6 months. All 15 cases had successful clinical outcome, with no clinical symptoms after treatment. During the follow-up period, the dimensions of periapical lesions decreased gradually and significantly. At the 6-month re-examination, no residual periapical radiolucency was detectable on the radiographs . Favorable clinical and radiographic outcomes were observed in this propective cases series using MTA Bio-C ® Sealer in combination with platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) as an apical barrier in the treatment of immature permanent teeth with periapical lesions.
