This study explores the isotropic strange quark stars under the modified [Formula: see text] gravitational framework, where we have adopted the form [Formula: see text] model and have focussed on how the coupling parameter [Formula: see text] influences the structure of compact quark matter. To incorporate the forms for the possible matter Lagrangian, the study adjusts the stellar equations with [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] enabling precise numerical solutions. In this work, the color-flavor-locked (CFL) equation of state (EoS) has been used to describe the strange quark matter, and the results have been examined for different parameter [Formula: see text] values. We have found that how the maximum mass is more sensitive to the curvature matter coupling than to the choice of viable CFL parametrization, indicating that [Formula: see text] leaves a distinguishable imprint on stellar structure. In this context, the study also incorporates an analysis of the energy conditions and the EoS parameter. The stability of our model is further evaluated by examining the surface redshift, squared speed of sound and the relativistic adiabatic index, all of which are found to be satisfied.
